Swatching the Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lipsticks! After testing the new Mac Liquid Lipsticks I thought I should do an arm & lip swatch video on them. MAC Soar Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a deep mauve with subtle, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. The pigmentation was opaque in one layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips comfortably. The texture felt denser, a little thicker than the average lipstick. MAC Kinkster Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a light-medium, yellow-brown with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. The yellow tone of this shade is what makes it uncommon in the makeup world. It was richly pigmented with good, even application that was comfortable to wear.

I bought this baby two summers ago. That was the first time I did a bit of a mini high end makeup hall which included 4-5 mac lipsticks. It was a huge deal for me! So my friend went on vacation and this is one of the shades I asked her to get, but since it was limited edition, it wasn't available in stores there anymore which was really sad. Then I saw a local seller selling it, and after a lot of indecisiveness, I decided to go for it because the color was just too pretty to pass up! Read on to see if I regretted my decision!

In Detail MAC Damn Glamorous Matte Lipstick Review, Swatches and My Experience
I finally got my package. Thankfully it was in stock so I didn't have to wait long. Sadly I did have to pay a little extra but once I put on the lipstick, all that went away! I was in LOVE with the color! It's such a pretty pink red that just brightens up your face. The color was everything I hoped it would be.
Not only that, unlike the retro matte formula, the regular matte formula didn't feel drying on my lips at all. That being said it also isn't 100% matte either, but the sheen goes away after a while. The color fades away evenly which is something I prefer, so my lips don't end up looking like a hot mess by the end of the day without touch ups!
What's funny was that I came across this lipstick randomly whilst google searching for a replacement color for a lipstick my friend couldn't find. So it was so random and I really couldn't decide if I should get this because I had just bought some but this lipstick and I were meant to be! Haven't looked bad since!

Overall I'm happy I bought this lipstick. It's one of my favourite mac lipstick shades from the ones I own. If you can somehow find it and get your hands on it, I would suggest doing so!
